Why Seniors Should Consider Driving Longer
Many older adults are thinking twice about getting behind the wheel of their car. As a matter of fact, seniors in nursing homes say that one of the many things that bothers them the most is having to give up their driver’s license. But according to a research conducted by AAA Foundation, seniors who give up driving are likely to suffer serious health consequences.
The research also found a significant decrease in the amount of cognitive ability over a 10-year period. Experts say that the key to staying behind the wheel is brushing up on skills.
